I love going to concerts. I mean LOVE! and I’m really lucky because I’ve only been to one concert that I didn’t enjoy (the secret is small venues). The reason I love concerts is you get to see the passion and the person behind the music. I’m a huge fan of Bombay Bicycle Club. They had been on my radar even before they had a song on the Twilight: Eclipse soundtrack. We saw them on Carson Daly one night and I decided they were going on my “must see live” list (which is getting extensive).
We went last week to the Granada to see them. It was sadly, my first time there (I had a baby so I’m behind on the scene). This has to be one of my favorite venues. Please excuse the bad iphone pics.

The opening band pictured above are the Vacationers. I enjoyed them so much! I’m saving a review of their music for a Music Monday post. We even sprung for a signed vinyl which I can’t wait to share with you all! They were so so good.

I want to be that girl.
Ya’ll. I thought I loved BBC before, but seeing them live was beyond. They are freakin’ good. Their energy and love for what they were playing just dripped off the stage. It made me want to run home and play my guitar.

Oh, bad iphone picture
The sweater of the evening award goes to:

I should have offered to be these people’s friend because they were hilarious. They danced the whole time. I mean danced. Any guy with the guts to wear a sweater like that is cool in my book. Not to mention he had great tattoos. I told my hubby he should get a sweater like that and then we laughed at how ridiculous he would look. Think I could pull it off?

Above the stage.
Look, when you have a kid, it can be real hard to get out and enjoy yourselves. We maybe had too much fun. Leaving the concert, we ran into a filming of Cheaters. That’s right. If you watch it, you might see us trying to run from the dang crew that was trying to maul us over and get the cheaters into the van. Weird, but BEST NIGHT EVER.
