CINCO DE MAYO WEDDING ON RUFFLED

Finally getting this amazing shoot posted! This was probably my favorite I’ve done so far. The colors are unbelievable and Nine Photography took some photos that look like paintings, they are that gorgeous. Lottie, our fearless leader over at Grit + Gold had an amazing vision for this shoot as well. I’m truly blessed to be able to work with such talent.

The best part is, this shoot was inspired by an amazing wedding we are working on that’s at the end of the month. I seriously can not wait to see pictures of this wedding! The belly band is a very special piece. It is laser cut and inspired by papel picado which I’m obsessed with now.

IN THE MOUNTAINS WEDDING INSPIRATION

Last year I went on the most amazing trip to Colorado. It was me, my hubby and Ms. Fi in our FJ cruiser just driving around the mountains. We have been dying to go back ever since. When I’m stressed or hot in Texas, I think about that trip. It’s my happy place. SO, it only made sense for me to design something with mountains. This is probably one of my favorite designs in the new collection. I just love it and can’t wait to see a bride use it.

It’s no secret that I secretly want to live on a ranch with horses and chickens. That was really my inspiration for this invitation suite. I wanted something country yet rustic and elegant. Hope you enjoy some equestrian wedding inspiration on this cloudy day!

FEATURE AND AN UPDATE

Hi all! What a crazy week last week was. I came down with a severe sinus infection that literally knocked me off my feet for 4 days. My little one had it too and we were both sick on her birthday which was no fun. I’m just now getting caught up on the millions of things sitting on my desk so I appreciate everyone’s patience.

I love my Grit + Gold peeps and when we work together, magic happens. Just like this amazing shoot that was featured on Ruffled last week. Go take a look!

The invitation I did for this shoot was super special. Screen printed on wood and lined with glitter, it really doesn’t get much better than that. I also lined the envelope and created a fun tie and tag for the main invite. All photos are by the lovely and amazing Nine Photography! Enjoy!
